eMando Switchboard

eMando Switchboard ($ 349.00) provides IP addresses to eMando Operator and eMando Remote. Therefore, there is no need to enter any IP address in neither eMando Operator nor eMando Remote.

Every eMando user can use our eMando Switchboard free of charge. This will suffice for most users.

However, when eMando is used within a large local network, it is recommended to install eMando Switchboard within the local network. This takes away the need for external port forwarding to computers in the local network.

When eMando Operator logs on, eMando Switchboard stores the operator's IP address. This enables eMando Remote to request the IP address of eMando Operator to set up a connection. eMando Operator also requests IP addresses of active eMando Remotes to connect as client.

Your customers may not want to have their IP addresses stored on eMando Software's servers. Installing eMando Switchboard is recommended in that case as this prevents direct traffic to our servers, including IP address transfers.

eMando Operator and eMando Remote

Both eMando Operator and eMando Remote must be configured to use the same eMando Switchboard in order to set up a connection. Either can be configured easily. eMando Remote can also be configured remotely using eMando Operator.
