Imagine the helpdesk department of a fictive company called Homelinq, an Internet provider with five helpdesk operators. Operator Laura gets a phone call from Shawn Hower; he has problems with the configuration of his e-mail client. Laura instructs him to download "Homelinq Remote Helpdesk", a customized version of eMando Remote Assistance. Shawn downloads the file from Homelinq's website, runs it, types his name and presses enter. Then, Laura opens eMando Router Client in eMando Operator and double-clicks Shawn Hower in the list. Within a second, Shawn is connected and Laura is able to start a remote desktop session to help Shawn with his e-mail settings.

Homelinq's setup as described above costs $ 449.00 (eMando Router + eMando Remote Assistance) plus $ 74.50 (or $ 44.50 a year) for each operator.

If your helpdesk or support team has one operator or if you do not require advanced routing functionality, you do not require eMando Router. A setup without eMando Router costs $ 219.00 (eMando Remote Assistance) plus $ 74.50 (or $ 44.50 a year) for each operator.
